# Little Hair Diary support

## Tell us what happened

Include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, Little Hair Diary version, and the steps that led to the issue. The app version is shown under Help & support in Settings. Share only the photos or notes you want us to see; a description is usually enough to get started.

## Saving your first moment

Open Today and add a moment. A photo, rating, and care details are optional. Save it, then find it again in Memories. You can return to an unfinished moment later.

## When your own insights appear

Many charts can show your data after two valid dates. Each chart needs its relevant details: ratings for rating charts, length measurements for length charts, or recorded products and observations for product comparisons. Two moments on the same date do not always count as two dates. More detailed patterns and growth estimates need more information. Example insights stay labeled as examples until your entries can support that chart.

## Comparing photos

Open Memories and choose Compare. Select two photos to look at them together and adjust the comparison. For useful length comparisons, take photos from a similar angle and distance.

## Unlocking companions

Cloud Pup and Silky Cat are available from the start. Save new moments on two different days to unlock Pocket Floof. Changing the date on an old moment does not count as a new save day. An unlocked companion is marked New until you select it once.

## iCloud and another device

Moments save locally first. Apple handles iCloud synchronization in the background, so you can keep using your diary while synchronization catches up. Use the same Apple Account on each device and check that iCloud is available to Little Hair Diary. Network conditions and Apple settings can affect how quickly changes appear. Keep your existing library while investigating a sync issue; deleting it is not a troubleshooting step.

## Weather and reminders

Open Settings to enable or disable local weather and reminders. Weather needs location permission and an internet connection. Turning weather off stops new lookups; remove old weather by editing the relevant moment. If reminders do not appear, check the app's reminder settings and notification permission in device Settings.

## Trying a hairstyle

Hairstyle generation appears only when supported by the device and Apple's image tools on iOS or iPadOS 27 or later. Device, region, language, and Apple settings can affect availability. The diary and photo comparisons work without it. Optional generated looks are ideas to explore; the result is not a prediction of a real haircut.

## Deleting your data

You can delete individual moments or use Settings → Delete all my data to clear the library, unfinished moments, and saved colors. Deletion can synchronize to your other devices through iCloud. ## Availability and price

The launch version is free, with no ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. It supports iPhone and iPad on iOS or iPadOS 26 or later, plus compatible Apple silicon Macs running the iPad app. The launch language is English.
