# Speed Limit Fullscreen Privacy Policy

This policy explains how **Speed Limit Fullscreen** handles information on
iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. The app does not require an account, contains no
advertising, and includes no third-party analytics or tracking SDK.

## Developer and contact

The app is provided by **Flavio Thomi**. Privacy questions can be sent to

## Location and motion

With permission, the app reads location samples supplied by Apple, including
coordinates, speed, course, accuracy, and time. It uses them to show driving
speed, match the current road, choose suitable map coverage, and support trip
features. Location access is requested only for app functionality and can be
revoked in system Settings.

Live location and motion state are processed by the app and are not sent to a
server operated by the developer. The iPhone and a paired Apple Watch may
exchange the state needed for the watch experience through Apple's device
communication services.

## Settings, maps, and saved trips

The app stores settings, trial state, purchase state, downloaded offline map
files, catalog and download state, and saved trips on the device. A saved trip
can contain names, coordinates, route geometry, distance, and expected travel
time. These records are used only to provide the selected features.

Saved trips and downloaded maps can be removed within the app. Deleting the
app removes its remaining local files and settings.

## Apple Maps

Place searches and online route calculations use Apple MapKit. Search text,
the search region, and route coordinates are submitted to Apple when those
features are used. The developer does not receive these requests or Apple's
service logs. Apple handles them under the
[Apple Privacy Policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

## Offline-map downloads

When the offline-map catalog is refreshed or a map is downloaded, the app
connects directly to download.geofabrik.de. The requested URL identifies the
catalog or selected map region. Geofabrik also receives ordinary connection
information such as the network address, time, app user agent, and request
status. The app does not deliberately include the device's precise live
location in these requests.

If Geofabrik is temporarily unavailable or a connection stalls, the app can retry downloads through
OpenStreetMap France at download.openstreetmap.fr for supported regions.
Requests to this alternate provider identify the selected map region and
include ordinary connection information such as the network address and app
user agent. Precise live coordinates are not included. Retrying can send
requests to both providers. Metadata requests may overlap while the app checks
which provider is responding. The developer does not receive their server logs.

Geofabrik states that its download-server rules mirror its website logging:
it retains a partial IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, user
agent, and status code for 90 days, then keeps longer-term aggregate counts.
The developer cannot access these logs. Details are in

## App Store purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. The app
reads the verified entitlement needed to unlock paid features. The developer
does not receive payment-card details.

## Analytics, advertising, and diagnostics

The app does not track people across apps or websites, use an advertising
identifier, sell data, or operate an analytics service. Diagnostic information
is available to the developer only if a user elects to share Apple diagnostics
or crash reports.

## Changes
