LZFSE Archiver Support

LZFSE Archiver compresses and decompresses files with Apple's LZFSE algorithm. Support is provided by email without a guaranteed response time or emergency-service availability.

A file cannot be opened

• Confirm that the source still exists and that Files or Finder grants access.
• A compressed file normally uses the .lzfse extension. A differently named file may not be recognized as a decompression input.
• Try copying cloud-hosted input to a local folder before opening it again.

Output cannot be written

Choose a destination with enough free space and write permission. On Mac, select the destination folder again if its saved permission is stale. Existing files are not overwritten automatically; rename or move the old output first.

Cancel or clear an operation

Cancel stops the current operation and removes incomplete output where possible. Clear removes completed entries and temporary in-app output, but it does not delete files already saved to a user-selected destination.

Remove app data

Delete source and output files with Files or Finder. Removing LZFSE Archiver deletes its local temporary files, preferences, and stored Mac folder bookmarks.
