PxReader Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 August 2026
This policy explains how PxReader handles information on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. PxReader does not require an account, contains no advertising, and includes no third-party analytics or tracking SDK.
Developer and contact
The app is provided by Flavio Thomi. Privacy questions can be sent to support@flaviothomi.com.
PX documents
PxReader opens PX or PC-Axis documents selected by the user. File contents can include table titles, source notes, classifications, labels, and statistical values. The app parses and displays this content on the device so the user can pivot, filter, switch available languages, and inspect the table.
PxReader does not upload document contents to the developer or to an app server. Access is limited to documents and destinations the user selects through Apple's document interfaces.
CSV export
When export is requested, PxReader creates a CSV representation on the device and lets the user choose where to save or share it through the system file exporter. The developer does not receive the source document or exported file. The selected destination may be managed by Apple or another storage provider chosen by the user and is then subject to that provider's terms.
Subscription
The optional Pro subscription is processed by Apple through StoreKit. PxReader stores a local copy of the current subscription state to control access to Pro features and checks verified StoreKit entitlements. The developer does not receive payment-card details.
Analytics, advertising, and diagnostics
PxReader does not track people across apps or websites, use an advertising identifier, sell data, or operate an analytics service. Diagnostic information is available to the developer only if a user elects to share Apple diagnostics or crash reports. Apple handles its services under the Apple Privacy Policy.
Data retention and deletion
PX documents and CSV exports remain wherever the user saved them and can be deleted with Files, Finder, or the selected storage provider. Removing PxReader deletes its local settings and cached subscription state. Apple's transaction history remains associated with the Apple Account.
Website and support
When this page is opened or support is contacted, the separate flaviothomi.com Website Privacy Notice applies. It explains static website delivery through Cloudflare and the handling of support email through Apple iCloud Mail.
Changes
This policy will be updated if the app's data practices change. The current version will remain available at this URL.
