EasyAssetSplit Privacy Policy

This policy explains how EasyAssetSplit handles information on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. EasyAssetSplit does not require a developer account, contains no advertising, and includes no third-party analytics or tracking SDK.

Developer and contact

Asset data

The app stores the information entered to model an asset split. Depending on how the app is used, this can include asset-set names, asset names, monetary or estimated values, alternative value scenarios, beneficiary or owner names, shares or percentages, display choices, and creation dates.

This information is used only to display, calculate, compare, import, and export the asset sets selected by the user. The developer does not operate an account system, advertising profile, analytics database, or separate app server for this information.

Private iCloud synchronization

EasyAssetSplit stores its SwiftData records in the private CloudKit database of the signed-in Apple Account. Apple may synchronize those records across the user's devices when iCloud is enabled. The developer operates no server or support dashboard for viewing a user's private asset sets.

iCloud can be disabled for the app in system Settings. Apple provides and processes CloudKit under the Apple Privacy Policy.

CSV import and export

The app reads a CSV file only after the user selects it through Apple's file interface. Imported names and values become part of the selected asset set and can be synchronized through private iCloud as described above. Exports are created on the device and written or shared only to a destination selected by the user. That destination may be governed by Apple or another storage provider chosen by the user.

App Store purchases

The optional Pro purchase is processed by Apple through StoreKit. The app stores a local indicator and checks the verified entitlement needed to unlock paid features. The developer does not receive payment-card details.

Analytics, advertising, and diagnostics

EasyAssetSplit does not track people across apps or websites, use an advertising identifier, sell data, or operate an analytics service. Diagnostic information is available to the developer only if a user elects to share Apple diagnostics or crash reports.

Data retention and deletion

Deleting an asset set or its records in the app removes those records and lets CloudKit synchronize the deletion. CSV files remain in the locations selected by the user until removed with Files, Finder, or the relevant storage provider. Removing the app deletes its local copy and settings but may leave private iCloud records available for reinstallation. Those records can be managed through the app or Apple's iCloud storage controls.

This policy will be updated if the app's data practices change. The current version will remain available at this URL.
